Senior Manager, Tax Compliance

Location: Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Tax Compliance to oversee all aspects of tax compliance for our clients operations in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Saudi tax system, including VAT, Zakat, corporate tax, and other relevant regulations. This role is responsible for ensuring that the company remains compliant with all tax obligations while optimizing tax efficiency and mitigating risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all tax compliance activities, including VAT, Zakat, and corporate tax filings, ensuring full compliance with Saudi tax laws.

  • Stay updated on tax regulations and provide guidance to the business on new tax developments and their implications.

  • Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate tax returns and ensure timely payments.

  • Manage tax audits and collaborate with external tax authorities, providing necessary documentation and responses.

  • Develop and maintain tax policies, procedures, and controls to ensure tax compliance and efficiency.

  • Work closely with finance and legal teams to identify and address tax risks.

  • Provide support on tax-related projects, including restructuring, M&A activities, and cross-border transactions.

  • Train and mentor junior tax professionals within the team.

  • Liaise with external tax consultants and advisors to optimize tax strategies.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, CPA) is preferred.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in tax compliance, with a strong focus on Saudi tax regulations.

  • In-depth knowledge of Saudi VAT, Zakat, and corporate tax requirements.

  • Proven experience in managing tax audits and interacting with tax authorities.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
