About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a global general contractor and data centre operator for a Senior Project Manager with proven experience delivering large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure. Based in Texas, this role will lead the end-to-end delivery of hyperscale or enterprise-level data centre builds, ensuring all technical, commercial, and compliance targets are met.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee ground-up construction of data centre facilities across preconstruction, construction, and commissioning phases.
Manage budgets ranging from $100Mโ$500M, including subcontractor management, scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting.
Coordinate with MEP, civil, and structural trades, ensuring integration of systems such as HVAC, UPS, generators, switchgear, and BMS.
Collaborate with stakeholders including clients, consultants, vendors, and local authorities, ensuring compliance with all U.S. codes and safety standards.
Lead internal teams (project engineers, construction managers, safety officers) and mentor junior staff to deliver on schedule and within scope.
Ensure delivery aligns with uptime tier standards (Tier III or IV) and client-specific redundancy/availability requirements.
Oversee change management, RFIs, risk assessments, and client communications during the build lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
Bachelorโs degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (Masterโs or PMP a plus).
10+ yearsโ experience in large-scale construction, with 5+ years in data centre or mission-critical environments.
Proven track record of delivering full life-cycle builds for hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise-grade data centres.
Familiarity with U.S. building codes, Texas energy/utility regulations, and permitting processes.
Deep technical knowledge of MEP systems, electrical infrastructure, fire/life safety, and critical commissioning practices.
Strong leadership, commercial acumen, and client-facing communication skills.
Able to travel to project sites across Texas or relocate during key build phases if required.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with or for major tech hyperscalers (e.g., AWS, Google, Meta, Microsoft).
Background in working with GCs, EPCs, or ownersโ rep firms delivering data centre projects in North America.
Exposure to LEED, Uptime Institute, or ASHRAE 90.1 design guidelines.
